Equilibrium Occupational Therapy is an independent locally owned occupational
therapy agency based in the communities of Nova Scotia. We offer high-quality
OT services in the areas of paediatrics, vocational rehabilitation and home safety.
Melissa Gibbons OT Reg (NS) is the owner of Equilibrium Occupational Therapy
and the primary occupational therapist. She obtained degrees in Kinesiology and
Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. Melissa has worked in a variety
of community based and hospital based programs. She has over 5 years of clinical experience in paediatric, vocational rehabilitation and home safety occupational therapy. Melissa is pleased to be one of the few Halifax based OT agencies offering paediatric occupational therapy services. When not working, Melissa enjoys traveling and spending time at home with her dog Huey.
